Yes! Parties can be booked online or by contacting our team directly at team@challengeacademy.co.uk.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that is suitable for outdoor activities, along with sturdy footwear such as trainers or outdoor boots. Skirts, sandals and Crocs are not permitted.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring waterproof clothing if rain is forecast. You will also be required to wear a full-body harness during the activities.

Yes! You can turn up and join our public sessions, subject to availability. However, we recommend booking online in advance to secure your place.

Public sessions run from 12pm–3pm. If you arrive late, your activity time may be reduced, as the session finishes at 3pm regardless of your arrival time.

Yes! We can upgrade your booking on site on the day, subject to availability.

For public sessions, booking amendments can also be made through our online booking system.

If you have booked a party and would like to make changes or upgrade your package, please contact us by email.

Yes! Friends and family are welcome to come along and watch and support participants.

An adult aged 18 or over must be present for the duration of the activity to complete the required consent forms and provide supervision. Additional family members and spectators are welcome.

Yes. Parking is available at Baggeridge Country Park.

The car park is operated by South Staffordshire Council, so all parking must be paid for using the pay-and-display machines or the relevant parking app.

As the car park is council-operated and outside of Challenge Academy’s control, we cannot accept responsibility for parking payments, permits, tickets, fines or any other issues relating to the car park.

We offer all-weather activities, so our courses remain open in most weather conditions. The course may close in severe weather, including high winds, thunder or lightning.

If we need to cancel your booking due to weather conditions, a member of our team will contact you on the morning of your booking to arrange an alternative date.

If you would prefer not to take part in the rain, we recommend checking the weather forecast before your visit and contacting us to arrange an alternative date. We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for booking amendments.

Yes! We are happy to make amendments to your booking, subject to availability.

For public sessions, you can make booking amendments through our online booking system.

For parties, please contact us by email to request any changes.

If you need to change the date or reduce the number of participants, we require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice. If you would like to add additional adventurers, please let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you.

We are based at Baggeridge Country Park, Sedgley, DY3 4HB, approximately five miles south of Wolverhampton city centre. We are easily accessible from the Black Country, South Staffordshire, Birmingham and Telford.

Please be aware that the car park operates on a pay-and-display basis and is managed by South Staffordshire Council.

Our adventure facilities are located below the Park Café, next to the lower car park.

Please allow plenty of time to park your car, make your way to the site and complete registration before your activity starts.

Public sessions start at 12pm, with a safety briefing from the Lead Instructor. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your session to allow enough time to get parked, register and be ready for the safety briefing.

If you miss the safety briefing, you may not be able to participate in the session, as our instructors will be running the activity and may not be able to repeat the briefing.

As a general rule, no. Our safety systems mean participants are always securely clipped on by an instructor using our continuous belay system.

We do recommend that adults, older siblings or carers accompany children who may be less confident.

Our instructors are always on hand to ensure participants are safe and to provide help and support throughout the activity.

Our activities are suitable for a wide range of ages.

• Nets Course: Minimum age 4 years
• Low Ropes Course: Minimum age 5 years
• High Ropes Course: Minimum age 7 years
• Powerfan and Zipwire: Maximum weight 16 stone (100kg)

Please check the requirements for your chosen activity when booking.

Our staff are first-aid qualified but are not medical practitioners and are therefore unable to make decisions about whether a participant is medically fit to take part.

It is the participant’s responsibility, or the responsibility of their parent/guardian where appropriate, to decide whether a medical condition could affect their ability to participate safely.

You will be required to acknowledge this when making your booking. If you are unsure, we recommend seeking advice from your doctor before participating.

Safety is our priority. Our courses are equipped with modern safety systems that keep participants securely attached throughout the activities.

All attachments are managed by our trained instructors. Our instructors are trained to high standards and must complete rigorous assessments before working on the course.

The course is checked daily in line with nationally recognised safety standards, and all participants wear a full-body harness where required.

Yes! Dogs are welcome on site, but they must be well behaved and kept on a lead at all times.

Please be considerate of other visitors and participants while bringing your dog onto the site.

If a participant becomes injured after making a booking, we are happy to postpone the booking with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.

Alternatively, if the injured participant would prefer a refund, we can arrange this upon receipt of appropriate medical evidence, such as a medical note.
