There’s no denying that it’s been a difficult few months for everyone, but no more so than for children who have missed a large part of the academic year; developing key knowledge and socialising with friends.
That’s why at Baggeridge Adventure we’ve designed a summer holiday Reboot Camp to help them get back on track and have a memorable summer adventure.
As a Community Interest Company, we’re aware that many working parents are unable to lean on grandparents this summer for childcare support, that’s why we’ve planned an affordable summer programme to run every week during the school holidays, that packs in lots of adventure and fun.
Based at Baggeridge Country Park, our Reboot Camp will run from 10am -3pm, Mondays to Thursdays for six weeks starting on 20th July.
No day will be the same as we will have different activities each day, and sessions focused on health, teamwork, confidence building and fun!
Activities will include:
– High ropes
– Low ropes
– Zip wire
– Nets course
– Obstacle course
– Climbing challenges
– Team activities
– Bushcraft skills
– Woodland trails
We have put all the necessary processes in place to ensure we are Covid safe, including an outdoor hand washing station, social distancing measures and we will be regularly sanitising equipment.
We have sheltered areas on site so in the event of inclement weather, we will be able to carry on with the activities and stay relatively dry.
Sessions are run by qualified instructors, some of whom are experienced teachers and ex-military instructors with paediatric first aid and DBS certificates.
Parents/carers can drop off and leave their kids with us, safe in the knowledge they will be taken care off and will have had lots of fun at the end of each day.
