Our training packages and courses are intended to upskill your staff to enable delivery of our services. All training is supported by relevant Ofqual approved qualifications and for continuing professional development.

Your ultimate ‘teamwork’ kit bag – A ‘Bag of Character’ is a sturdy weatherproof holdall full of ideas, activities and equipment required for over 100 warm-ups, team challenge, reviews, session planning and ‘mental toughness’ exercises.

XL TEAM ACTIVITIES

XL Team Activities offer an excellent add-on for your set-up. A number of large-scale challenges add value to your offer and are included in the deal, all accompanied by a comprehensive manual and an initial training package.

WHAT IS A MOBILE 'BIG RIG'

Portable obstacle, fitness and team challenge equipment. A complete solution for you to deliver meaningful challenge and team development anywhere. Our Rig fits into a box trailer and can be assembled quickly and used to achieve a variety of outcomes. The kit is extremely robust, but the key to success is about empowering leaders to take ownership and deliver high quality training.

PACKED FULL OF IDEAS AND ACTIVITIES

This framework comprises 4 A-Frames and all of the ancillary equipment required to build an amazing challenge activitiy, obstacle course or fitness trail. We also include a number of our XL Team Activities and a manual to provide guidance on how to set up the course and deliver engaging and safe activities. You also get a ‘Bag of Character’, associated accreditation and CPD approved training.

WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Our resources and training have been developed and produced exclusively by our Directors over the past 10 years, with input from fellow professionals. We have now worked on a number of projects relating to the design, implementation, training and accreditation for challenge activities and larger scale outdoor learning facilities and tasks. Work to date includes:

CREATIVE

Design of high quality, robust and innovative activities to be used for personal and team development with a focus on outreach and mobility. We continually adapt and develop to meet customer needs

CURRENT

Gathering, collating and acting on input of subject specialists and lead trainers with extensive teaching, military instruction, personal training and leadership experience.

CREDIBLE

Undertaking a thorough process to achieve Continuing Professional Development (CPD) approved training and certification through the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL)

CO-OPERATIVE

Continued partnership work and consultation with like-minded Youth Organisations, National Governing Bodies, Leisure Trusts, Local Authorities and other purpose-driven organisations.

ACCREDITED TRAINING

The training course ‘Facilitation Skills for Experiential Learning’ focuses on how to pitch and shape the learning to achieve desired outcomes. Practical, engaging and fun – this 6hr course is certified CPD by the Institute for Outdoor Learning. Trainees will be assessed throughout the process and will then be qualified to facilitate activities from the resource.

XL Activities

£7.9k +vat

The deal includes 1 x Bag of Character and 12 XL activities to compliment your offer. Activities will provide you with the opportunity to work with over 120 participants at any one time. We also provide familiarisation training, a comprehensive Risk Assessment, Structural Calculations and a comprehensive Operations Manual. Trainees will be assessed throughout the process and will then be qualified to facilitate activities from the resource.

Mobile ‘Big Rig’ 

£22.5k + vat

This is the ultimate mobile challenge set up. It includes a Bag of Character, facilitator training, all of the XL Activities, 4 of our Challenge Frames, all of the accessories and a twin-axle branded box trailer. When everything is set up it is capable of accommodating many learners and adventurers to achieve a variety of positive outcomes. The kit is extremely robust, but, as with everything that we do the key to success is about empowering leaders to take ownership and deliver high quality facilitation. We always provide familiarisation training, a comprehensive Risk Assessment, Structural Calculations and a comprehensive Operations Manual.

EASILY ASSEMBLED

Quick Fit pins mean that kit can be put together quickly and safely. No need for spanners and tools. The equipment takes no longer than 50 minutes for 2 trained people to put together.n planning, feedback and review materials.

 

ROBUST AND SAFE

All metal work is hot-dip galvanized and then powder coated in your choice of colours to prevent corrosion and enhance a great look. Play-guard timber will not split or swell, so ensuring a continuous safe fit for all components.

 

ANCILLARY EQUIPMENT

Ancillary equipment Add-ons can be fitted to the framework using the same Quick Fit Pins. The course can then be placed in a number of configurations to achieve a variety of outcomes. Cargo Nets, Balance Bars, Monkey Bars, Pull-Up Bars, Push-Up Bars……and loads more.

 

MENTAL TOUGHNESS

Our Mobile Challenge Kit and Training is ideal for programmes that develop ‘grit’ and Resilience. We have partnered with AQR International to offer their MTQ48 Mental Toughness measure alongside any purchase.
