Our Adventure Hubs have been designed to accommodate high numbers, allowing schools and colleges to bring ‘whole year groups’ if required. Our sites are ideal for students of all ages and abilities. A range of programmes can be provided to meet your needs. Our programmes include a wide range of activities: high ropes, team climbing challenges, aerial trekking courses, climbing walls and powerfan descenders. Activities can also be supplemented and supported by our innovative ground-based challenges.
All of our courses and programmes are appropriate to your educational needs, relevant to the following examples of the school learning profile:
Our staff at Challenge Academy undergo constant training and standardisation to ensure that your experience is positive and safe:
Aerial Traverses and Climbing Challenges – Fun, personal challenge, engaging and experiential learning – ideal for KS 1/2 reward and enrichment. We sometimes combine this with fun activities on the ground.
Multi-Activity Day, Aerial Traverses, Climbing Challenges and Team Challenges – Fun, individual/team challenge, personal/team development and focus on learning. Ideal for enrichment, whole year groups and large groups with specific outcomes.
Facilitated Programme, Aerial Traverses, Climbing Challenges and Team Challenges – Personalised learning, specific focus, changing behaviour, improving performance and attainment. Ideal for an alternative provision, phased training, personalised programmes, inclusion groups and leadership development.
We can provide you with a memorable experience at all of our sites no matter what your needs. Baggeridge Adventure Hub has been especially equipped to accommodate people with specific needs and we pride ourselves on providing something for everyone. We have now delivered programmes to over 200 groups with specific requirements.
All Challenge Academy sites are equipped with modern, high-tech safety systems to ensure that students are permanently clipped on and safe. Challenge Academy provide all Personal Protective Equipment (harnesses and helmets). We do not provide waterproofs, spare shoes, umbrellas etc. It is essential that students come prepared for the weather, as getting cold and wet will affect the success of the day.
‘Some cracking feedback from the kids today, they really enjoyed it. And lots of positive feedback from the staff too, not only those who were with you but also others who had spoken to the students. So, thanks! Same time next year?!’ – Helen Giorgiou – Tudor Grange School
‘May I take this opportunity to thank you and your outstanding team for the superb three days you planned for us here at Oldbury Academy. The feedback I have had from staff, students, and even parents has been overwhelmingly positive and we are very grateful. Can you please pass this onto the guys that were with us, they are a credit to your organisation and I’m sure we’ll work again soon’ – Andrew Reece – Oldbury Academy
‘I just thought that I would send you a quick email to say how well the trip went on Sunday. The pupils really enjoyed themselves and it was one of the best trips that I have run all year. Your staff welcomed us and were excellent all day, especially Ali who met us and helped throughout the morning. We will definitely be coming back next year.’ – Liam Mullin – Bromsgrove School
‘My group has a wide range of physical and learning challenges, and I was impressed by the accommodating yet absolutely professional way in which all of our activities were handled. Our less physically able learners were delighted to be able to participate in all activities in the same way as their able peers, and as such your facility provided an ideal and inclusive experience. Thanks indeed for an extremely enjoyable and highly valuable experience for all.’ – Jo Hodgkiss – Lecturer Telford College of Arts and Technology
